I am generally more accurate with my mous3. VATs is very RGNThe only time I use it is when there is a Deathclaw and I have a 95% chance of hitting it in the head with my Anti Material rifle i have tried that shot before and missed. Turns out vats doesnt check for intervening terrain so i have missed a 95% on an ant before multiple times in a row. Haha I have had that happen before but I was shooting at people.
@Mikemcn: On the first day it was released, there was already 2 nude mods. One of them was a high res one with multiple selections.
Is there a similar mod where you can become a Briarheart or something? I had an idea a long time ago where the player becomes half daedra. I want my character to have a briarheart in his chest. I would ideally like to eventually make a 'become a briarheart' mod sometime down the. Skyrim become a briarheart mod. Jun 1, 2015 - Playable briarheart - posted in Skyrim Mod Requests: So I. To find out there is no mod that allows you to become a briarheart, either by quest. Dec 9, 2012 - Receive Briarheart Geis as a quest reward (not available in normal in-game). In Whiterun and read the note on the table to become Forsworn.
Shortly thereafter came the animated prostitution mod. They are now both almost at the top of the top 100 files on the site. This was one of the reasons as to why I stopped modding for Oblivion and FO3, I don't mind nude mods but when the entire top 100 is made out of bikin armors and shit like that you just kinda die a little inside. Anyways here are some I'm using right now. I'm bumping this for great justice. This is what I'm using right now. I don't like changing the game too much, especially not during my first run. I prefer tweaking it a bit rather than completely overhauling it.: Exactly what it says on the tin.
Makes realtime combat much, much better.: Changes the lightning settings to make them much more realistics. Visible light communication technique in education. I haven't played much with this, but the game does look a lot better not being completely greenish brown. Maybe a bit too better.shrugs.: No more constrained over-the-shoulder camera in 3rd person mode! I'll try that Binoculars mod. I'm using the rifle scope to look afar right now:P. Does anyone know of a mod (or tweak) that makes VATS behave like in Fallout 3?
In New Vegas, entering VATS does not reduce the damage done to you like in Fallout 3, which makes it much worse. If you are surrounded by three or more enemies, entering VATS means staying completely still like a sitting duck. Even Grim Reaper's Sprint has been severely nerfed, though I think they make the game regenerate AP faster. Anyway, does anyone know about something that reduces the damage you take in VATS to Fallout 3 levels, or a least something similar to it? @GunslingerPanda said: ' @MrOldboy said: ' the directx9 fix is essential, even if you dont want to use mods.
Went from a stuttering 35-50 fps to a smooth 60. Also the pulled back centered 3rd person camera actually makes it so you could play the game like a 3rd person rpg if you use vats more than pointing and shooting. 'I had no idea someone could mod this out. I am in desperate need of this; the game stutters like a motherfucker!
'I use the dll fix, obviously, but that didn't reduce the stuttering., on the other hand, makes the game as smooth as a baby's ass. You can use it with the dll and Steam without any problem. You'll get Achievements and everything, even though the Steam overlay recognizes the 4GB launcher as another game, so you won't get the information you'd normally get without it. But hey, it's a small, almost meaninglss, price to pay for a huge improvement over vanilla FNV. Oh, and it works even if you don't have 4GB of RAM and/or an x64 OS. Some mods that I have been using and didn't see mentioned already: DarNified UI NV This was my favorite UI mod for Fallout 3 so I am glad that it is being done again for NV.
It streamlines a lot of things and makes much better use of the screen real estate provided by higher PC resolutions. It is still in beta so he only posts it in the bethsoft forums instead of the nexus (although it doesn't look like a beta to me!). Fellout NV This mod removes some of the color filters and improves the lighting (along with making the nights much darker). The weather is also updated. I believe it is similar to URWL.
Brighter PipBoy Light This mod lets you make the PipBoy light 1.5 or 2 times brighter. Especially useful with the above mod where nights are darker. Enhanced Scope Zoom This mod lets you increase the zoom on all rifle scopes by 2 or 4 times.
I'm currently using the 2x file. This is helpful if you do a lot of sniping but felt that the default scope zoom is a bit too weak. Silence Companions When Sneaking This mod removes all the annoying dialogue that your companions repeat over and over again when you are sneaking around. 'Am I going to have to take that away from you?'
'Don't worry about me deary, your grandma knows how to stay quiet.'
. Removed changes to perks and loading screens' text from the script. DescriptionThis mod is a comprehensive alternative to VATS, replacing it with a slow-motion bullet time feature (though you can still use VATS as well if you choose to). You can choose between a key-based activation mode - where you can trigger bullet time by pressing a key with a weapon drawn - and an aiming based mode - where bullet time is activated automatically whenever you aim in combat.Bullet time consumes action points at a rate dependent on the usual VATS AP cost of your weapon.
A novelty option allows you to set a lower slowdown rate for your character than that of the rest of the world, kinda like Turbo. This will only affect your movement, attack and reload speed, but it should still give you a nice edge in bullet time. You can also enable bonuses to your character while in bullet time similar to those of regular VATS mod, based on the game settings that control them. Namely, increased critical chance, damage resistance, and melee damage.Controller support is also possible through the use of 's controller emulation feature. One of the things that always put me off using bullet time mods instead of VATS was that it left too many loose ends. VATS perks were never accounted for - so they were useless - and the game would still mention VATS regularly even though I wasn't using it. This mod fixes these issues. For a start, vanilla VATS is disabled by default.
Fallout New Vegas Vats Mod Mods
In my opinion, if you're using a bullet time mod, you don't need VATS anymore - otherwise you just resort to using VATS to get easy head-shots when the enemy gets to close (let's be honest). That's overpowered in my opinion. But hey - using the MCM you can choose to re-enable VATS if you wish.Next, all VATS perks are accounted for (even the one from Tale of Two Wastelands and no patch is required). They will all have alternative effects which make them useful outside of VATS. The Mysterious Stranger and Miss Fortune are also covered. They can both turn up to help you in combat in real-time! Their appearance and disappearance even comes complete with all the sound effects and can be affected by the Friendly Help reward perk as usual. Crown wav50 118.
All perk descriptions, and any loading screens mentioning them, will reflect the changes.Speaking of loading screens - all references to VATS in loading screens, help menus, and tutorials are removed and the text is edited to make sense without it. Installation / UninstallationThis mod requires:.;.;.Please ensure you have the latest version of each before submitting a bug report.Install using your preferred method and check the plugin file. You can configure the mod using the MCM menu.Again, this mod makes it's changes by a script so there shouldn't be any compatibility issue with the overwhelming majority of mods. Use FNVEdit to check.Uninstalling this mod requires no special procedure - simply uncheck/remove the file.
There are no permanent effects on your game saves. CompatibilityMany of this mod's features are implemented by script so there should be very little incompatibility with other mods.ALL perk effects, either changed or added by other mods, are accounted for in the calculations for not just AP costs, but for everything you can imagine relative to them, thanks to JIP LN's powerful GetPerkModifier function.Perks which have new outside-of-VATS effects, or whose description states they are VATS-exclusive were directly modified so that this mod is easier to patch.
Mods which edit the same perks will conflict but putting this mod lower down in your load order should be fine in the majority of cases.FNVEdit can be used to check compatibility and resolve conflicts in cases where loading later will not suffice (if you find any instances where this is the case, feel free to notify me and I'll see if I need to create an official patch).
